世界是一本书,成长是一条路,中外合作办学项目学子跨越重洋,在美国MTSU校园开启了充实的学习之旅。从计算机实验室到图书馆自习区,他们不仅深入学习专业知识,更通过实地探访拓展对美国历史文化的认知,展现出浓厚的求知欲和学习热情。

 

In this vibrant season, students from the Chinese-foreign cooperative education program crossed the ocean to begin their enriching academic journey at MTSU. From computer labs to library study areas, they not only delved into professional knowledge but also expanded their understanding of American history and culture through field visits, demonstrating their strong thirst for knowledge and enthusiasm for learning.

Dual Learning of Cutting-edge Technology and Humanities

 

在动态程序分析、网络安全等专业课程中,同学们通过Heartbleed安全漏洞等经典案例,深入探讨技术的安全边界与伦理责任。同时,他们也积极选修美国历史与文化课程,从南北战争到民权运动,全面了解所在国家的发展脉络。教授以生动的实例引导思辨,而学生们专注聆听、积极发问的态度,正是国际化课堂的真实写照。

 

In courses like dynamic program analysis and network security, students explored technological boundaries and ethical responsibilities through classic cases such as the Heartbleed security vulnerability. Meanwhile, they actively enrolled in American history and culture courses, comprehensively understanding the country's development from the Civil War to the Civil Rights Movement. Professors guided critical thinking through vivid examples, while students' attentive listening and active questioning perfectly embodied the essence of international classrooms.

图书馆、学习公共区域里,来自不同文化背景的同学们围坐在一起,共同攻克项目难题。他们不仅在课堂上积极参与小组讨论,还通过线上平台与团队成员保持密切合作。同学们分享着各自的技术见解,也交流着不同文化视角下的解决方案。这种跨时区、跨文化的协作经历,让他们在完成学业任务的同时,也体验了国际化团队合作的真实场景,为未来的职业发展积累了宝贵经验。

 

In libraries and learning commons, students from different cultural backgrounds gathered to tackle project challenges together. They not only participated actively in group discussions during class but also maintained close collaboration with team members through online platforms. Students shared their technical insights and exchanged solutions from different cultural perspectives. This cross-timezone, cross-cultural collaborative experience allowed them to complete academic tasks while experiencing real international teamwork, accumulating valuable experience for their future career development.

课堂之外,融入校园生活的脚步从未停歇:清晨公交车上洒满车厢的晨光,草坪上自由讨论的剪影,超市里挑选食材的“文化初体验”……独立与自信,在点滴探索中悄然生长。

 

Beyond the classroom, their integration into campus life never ceased: morning sunlight filling the bus compartment on the way to class, silhouettes freely discussing on the lawn, the "cultural first experience" of selecting ingredients at supermarkets... Independence and confidence grew quietly through these everyday explorations.

 

 

 

 

这段海外之旅终将结束,但中外合作办学项目软件工程学子们收获的是更开阔的全球视野、更扎实的专业技能,以及在多元文化环境中解决问题的能力。未来,他们将带着这些宝贵经验,在技术创新与跨文化交流的广阔舞台上,书写属于自己的精彩篇章!

 

This overseas journey will eventually conclude, but what these software engineering students from the joint education program take away is a broader global perspective, stronger professional skills, and the ability to solve problems in multicultural environments. In the future, they will bring these valuable experiences to write their own brilliant chapters on the vast stage of technological innovation and cross-cultural communication!
