In the increasingly globalized world, the Sino-US Joint Program of the School of Information Engineering has once again demonstrated its excellent practice in international education and home-school linkage. As of September 12, 2024, the major has successfully sent the "Student Learning Notice" to 218 parents of 2022 and 2023 students, which is not only a feedback on students' academic performance, but also a profound interpretation of the importance of home-school cooperation.

The student learning notice is comprehensive and well-designed in its content, which closely combines international education standards and the teaching characteristics of Eurasia. It consists of the following three core parts:

多邻国/雅思成绩

Duolingo or IELTS

作为衡量学生国际语言能力的关键指标，美国中田纳西州立大学对本专业学生的英语语言水平提出了明确要求，即多邻国成绩>=85分或雅思成绩>=5.5分，可注册美方课程；多邻国成绩>=95分或雅思成绩>=6分，可获取美方学士学位证。这些成绩不仅反映了学生在英语听说读写方面的能力水平，更是他们未来参与国际交流、出国深造或就业的重要敲门砖。

As a key indicator of students' international language proficiency, Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) sets clear requirements for students’ English proficiency in this major：If Duolingo English Test≥85 or IELTS≥5.5, students can enroll US courses; If Duolingo English Test≥95 or IELTS≥6, students can get the US Bachelor Degree. It not only reflects the students' ability in English listening, speaking, reading and writing,but also is important for their future participation in international exchanges, study abroad or employment.

这一部分涵盖了对学生在学习能力、团队协作能力、社会实践能力、跨文化交流能力等多个方面的评价，旨在全面反映学生的综合素质和发展潜力。通过学业辅导员给予的综合评价，家长可精准了解学生的优势与不足，为他们提供更加个性化的指导和支持。

This part covers the evaluation of students' learning, teamwork, social practice, cross-cultural communication and other abilities, aiming to reflect students' comprehensive quality and development potential. Through the comment given by the academic counsellor, parents can see the strengths and weaknesses of their children and provide them with more personalized guidance and support.
