软件工程（中外合作办学）作为学校首个中外合作办学项目，在着重培养学生专业能力的同时，也对学生的英语水平提出了更高的要求。

截止目前，本专业22级与23级学生在英语学习上取得了阶段性的成果。22级学生中，英语语言考试成绩共65人达到美方课程注册标准，占比61.9%，110分以上共6人，全年级多邻国最高分为140，雅思最高为5.5分。

同时，23级学生通过一学期的努力，也取得了不俗成绩，春季学期开学至今，23级已经有33名同学的英语语言水平达到美方课程注册标准，全年级多邻国最高分为140分，雅思最高分为5.5分。

Software Engineering (EU-MTSU Joint Program), as the first cooperation program of XI’AN EURASIA UNIVERSITY, not only focuses on cultivating students' professional abilities but also sets higher requirements for their English proficiency.

Among the students of 2022, a total of 65 students successfully registered MTSU curriculum, accounting for 61.9%, with 6 students scoring above 110 points. The highest score for Duolingo English Test was 140, and for IELTS was 5.5.

Meanwhile, the students of 2023 have also achieved commendable results through earnest efforts. Since the beginning of this semester, 33 students have reached the American curriculum registration standard in English proficiency. The highest score for Duolingo English and IELTS is same as above.

这一佳绩的取得离不开英语老师和班主任的精心指导，以及学生们在晨读晚自习中的刻苦付出。晨读晚自习作为该项目组的一项重要特色，为学生们提供了优质的英语学习环境。每周英语老师会提前安排晨读和晚自习的学习任务，要求学生认真阅读英语资料，积累词汇，并完成相关练习。英语老师和班主任每天都会进行晨读检查，及时更新学生的学习情况，督促他们背诵单词，完成每日学习计划。

The attainment of these achievements is inseparable from the meticulous guidance of English teachers and counsellors, as well as the diligent efforts of students during morning and evening study sessions. Morning reading and evening study sessions, as an important feature of this program, provide students with a high-quality English learning environment. English teachers arrange study tasks for morning and evening sessions in advance, requiring students to read English materials carefully, accumulate vocabulary, and complete relevant exercises. All teachers check morning reading every day, update students' learning progress, and urge them to memorize words and complete daily study plans.

晚自习时间，班主任们的督促管理更是严格到位，各班同学会被分为6-7个小组，班主任每晚听写完单词后，由各组小组长进行批改，最后交给英语课代表统计单词听写正确率并汇报给英语老师和班主任。老师们会根据同学们的听写情况，调整后续的英语作业任务量。老师们之间紧密合作，针对学生们的学习特点和需求，提供个性化的辅导和答疑。此外，班主任们也会根据学生的学习特点和需求，提供个性化的辅导和答疑服务，帮助学生解决学习中的难题。

During the evening study sessions, students are divided into 6-7 groups in each class. After dictation, group leaders check the results, and the English class representative collects the data on the accuracy of word spellings. On the basis of the students' spelling results, teachers adjust their subsequent English tasks. Teachers cooperate closely with each other, providing personalized guidance and answering questions tailored to the students' learning characteristics and needs. Additionally, counsellors offer personalized coaching and tutoring services based on students' learning characteristics and needs, helping them tackle learning challenges.
