2022年4月26日，教育部公布2021年下半年中外合作办学项目审批结果，西安欧亚学院与美国中田纳西州立大学合作举办的软件工程专业本科教育项目成功获批。此次获批的中美合作项目为学校首个中外合作办学项目，丰富了学校国际化项目的办学类型，是学校深入推进“在地国际化”战略发展的重要里程碑。

On April 26, 2022, the Ministry of Education announced the approval results for the second half of 2021 for the joint education projects. The undergraduate program in Software Engineering, jointly conducted by Xi'an Eurasia University and Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) in the United States, was successfully approved. This EU-MTSU Joint Program is something of a milestone, enriching the diversity of Eurasia’s internationalization and advancing the strategy of "local internationalization."

软件工程（中外合作办学）专业在培养学生专业能力的同时，也对学生的英语语言水平提出了更高的要求。学生在满足中方学委授予条件的情况下，且学业成绩GPA达到C及以上，语言成绩满足以下要求，即可获取中外双方学位：多邻国考试成绩>=95分，雅思考试成绩>=6分，托福考试成绩>=71分（注：三种考试选其一即可）。

本专业22级共113名学生，经过一年的努力，他们在英语学习上取得了阶段性的成果。截至2023年9月18日，本专业学生英语语言水平共60人达到专业课注册标准，占比53.1%，23人达到毕业标准，占比20.3%，110分以上共6人。

中美2201班

达到美方专业课注册标准的学生共20人，占比54%，达到毕业标准的学生共7人，占比18.9%，其中多邻国最高分为140（满分160），雅思最高分5.5；

中美2202班

达到美方专业课注册标准的学生共19人，占比54.3%，达到毕业标准的学生共8人，占比22.8%，其中多邻国最高分为130，雅思最高分5.5；

中美2203班

达到美方专业课注册标准的学生共21人，占比55.2%，达到毕业标准的学生共8人，占比22.8%，其中多邻国最高分为130。

The EU-MTSU Joint Program not only focuses on developing students' professional competence but also sets more requirements for their English proficiency. To be eligible for dual degrees from both Eurasia University and Middle Tennessee State University, students must meet the following language requirements in addition to satisfying the conditions set by the Chinese Academic Committee and maintaining a GPA of C or higher. Specifically, Duolingo English Test, IELTS and TOEFL are not less than 95, 6 and 71 respectively (one out of three).

There are 113 students in this major. On the basis of one year's earnest efforts, our students have achieved significant progress in English proficiency. As of September 18, 2023, 60 students in the EU-MTSU Joint Program have met the language requirements for registering specialized courses, accounting for 53.1%, while 23 students have met one of the graduation standards, accounting for 20.3%. Among them, 6 students have scored above 110 points.

In class 2201, 20 students have met the specialized courses registration requirement of MTSU, accounting for 54%, while 7 students have met one of the graduation standards, accounting for 18.9%. Among them, the highest score is 140 in Duolingo English Test, and 5.5 in IELTS. Similarly, students in class 2202 and 2203 also demonstrated their language proficiency with notable performance in the Duolingo English Test and IELTS.
